My name is George and I live in Kingsbury with my wife, daughters and Labrador Fred. I've always enjoyed walking my dogs over the years and turned a hobby into a job! With the help of my family, I can offer you a consistent, friendly, professional service. We fit around your busy life and ensure that you have a happy, healthy, well mannered dog!
SERVICES AND FEES
GROUP WALKS
Your dogs safety is our top priority which is why we never pack walk dogs. We want your pup to have a fun-filled walk whilst under constant supervision without being bombarded by lots of other dogs. So we only have groups of four for maximum play and socialisation.
The walks are designed so that your pooch gets at least an hour walking on lead, playing with friends and getting rewards for good manners.
Your pooch will be in a group of compatible dogs, who are well trained and similar in size, personality and energy levels. We will set up a regular schedule with you, so your dog is picked up and returned in your chosen time slot. This is good for your pups routine.
The group walks are at least one hour long in Fryent Country Park (excluding travel time). The cost of this is £20. Your pup needs to attend 2 days a week to maintain relationships and we offer a discount if you use us 5 times a week.

1-1 WALKS
There are many reasons your dog may need to be walked individually and we are happy to do that for you. We can tailor the walk to your requirements and make sure your dog comes home safe, happy, clean and tired.
The walks can be any length you like and can include any combination of loose lead walking, sniffing, following commands to get rewards and playing games.
You may like us to walk in streets your dog is familiar with or go on an adventure. The choice is yours- we are here to help you and your pooch!

DOG DAYCARE
Our dog day care is available if you have a very active dog who needs 2 big walks a day. They can join in the group walks with a cosy relaxing time in our home at midday.
It may be that your pooch only wants company and not a walk. If so, consider us a fabulous creche for your dog!
Throughout the day at our home, your dog can either choose to relax, sleep or enjoy some playtime in our fully secure garden, whatever they would normally do at home. We will collect your dog in the morning, give them a full doggy day care, and then drop them off, happy and relaxed in the afternoon.
Your doggy can do whatever they normally do. We provide two walks if required, and will feed your dog according to your instructions. Our house is a place for friendly, social dogs who just want to relax. Your pooch can become a regular, full-time, weekday guest or join us for as few as 2 days a week.
Please provide your dog's food, bed, toys, bowls etc
Your dog will receive lots of love and attention in a home environment. We only look after a couple of dogs at any one time and our level of care is 5 star!
The price for weekday care is £45 per day. This includes complimentary pick-up and drop-off plus 2 walks for your dog and lots and lots of love and attention!
We offer a free meet and greet prior to any dog day care to ensure a good fit.

TRAINING
We provide rewards based, ethical training for you and your dog. Meaning that no-one gets dragged around by their lead and everyone gets lots of treats and praise. Our 1:1's can cover anything from recall, loose-lead walking and settle, through to stay, heel and break.
Our holistic approach makes training fun and effective, something to enjoy with your dog rather than endure!
We are studying with The Institute of Modern Dog Training, and are firm believers in Continuous Professional Development. This ensures we are as informed as possible on anything you may need.
During your time as our client you are encouraged as a household to be part of a WhatsApp group with your trainer. We are happy to answer queries during the week between your sessions and love seeing videos of your dog practising all their new skills!
We are able to provide an educational and fully rounded service so that your dogs desirable behaviours are reinforced and unwanted habits are resolved. However, we also realise that with doggies, no two days are the same and new anxieties may crop up, so we provide aftercare.
Our aim is for you to be confident in reading dog body language, so you can interpret your dogs behaviour and be a great dog owner. We operate a preventative approach to avoid problems with your dog which we will impart to you.
However, if you need advice or follow ups via WhatsApp, we are always here to help. For as long as you are keen to help your dog through tricky patches, we want you to feel part of our dog family, we are here to help you!

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Here at The Dog Walker, we aim to help you keep your dog fit and healthy. We are keen users of long lines while dogs are learning to recall reliably. To protect your dogs throat, we advocate a well fitted comfortable harness. Their safety and happiness are our priorities.
Your dog will travel in a fully air conditioned vehicle. You can choose for them to be clipped into a harness or in a crate.
When off lead, all dogs have a GPS tracker fitted for their safety and your peace of mind.
All staff at "The Dog Walker" are DBS checked, insured and trained in Dog First Aid.
Your keys can be held in a lockbox near your front door, or kept by us unmarked in a safe. Should you ever get locked out, we are happy to come and get you in!
We are recommended by many local vets and have the experience and expertise that many agency style walkers lack. This means that your pup is in the safest hands possible whilst in our care.
